Shaving Cream

This activity is a bit messy but so much fun!  It's great for days when you can't get out of the house and everyone is a bit antsy.

Age: 

14 months-15 months (exercise caution with young children who may try and put it in their mouths, this would be fun even with older children)

• Shaving Cream
• A tarp (if you are doing it on carpet)

How to:

I did this activity two different ways.

The first time I put Ephraim in his high chair (from Ikea, I love it because it is so easy to clean) and put a plastic table cloth under him to minimize the mess in our carpeted apartment.

At first he was a little unsure but then he really dug in!

I've also done this activity in the bathtub.  It was a fun slippery (contained) mess.  Ephraim enjoyed it, and the cleanup was much easier.

Verdict:

This activity is a favorite.  It is a messy one, and it requires more supervision than some, but it was just too much fun!  This is also a great activity for older kids who can draw in the shaving cream.
