Bag Painting

This activity would be good for older toddlers and preschool age children.  After a little prep work it is a mess free way to paint!

15 months, but I will be trying this again when he is older

Skills:

Fine Motor, Pre-writing

Materials:

• Ziplock Bag (I would recommend a heavy-duty freezer-type bag)
• Paint
• Tape

How to:

Scoop a couple of table spoons of paint into the ziploc bag (I used 3-4 for  small ziploc).  I used two colors for more fun with mixing.  Then close the bag and make sure to squeeze out any air.  Then tape the bag to a window or table top and let the fun begin.

Verdict:

Ephraim was curious about this activity, but it didn't really hold his attention.  A child who is a bit older and into drawing shapes may enjoy this activity more.
